Nicole Gallo

Master of Science in Conflict Management graduate, Nicole Gallo, recently spent six months volunteering with the Africa Inland Mission in Rundu, Namibia. Nicole, who is also the daughter of Math Chair Dr. Margie Gallo, said her time with the mission was such an amazing experience, and she enjoyed learning about a different culture and having the opportunity to serve some really incredible kids. A Sweet Career!

Ever since she was a little girl, Greta Sparks loved to bake. "My fondest memories were during the Christmas season. We baked so many cookies, and candies; we would give them to everyone. Even today it makes me very happy to bake for people just to make them happy." [read more]

For nearly 40 years the Dare to Care Food Bank has made a commitment that no one in our community will go hungry. The organization works to end hunger by providing services to the more than 180,000 in the Louisville and surrounding areas. [read more]
