Be part of something biggerYou can make your Sullivan University experience even more rewarding by joining one of many on-campus organizations. Here is a sample of what’s available.Student Activities Committee (S.A.C) Working through and with the Office of the Associate Dean of Students, this group plans, organizes and presents student activities on campus. It gives students a voice on activities they would like to see on campus and provides a sense of leadership. Travel Club Open to students from any program, this group plans several trips a year, such as to Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York, Epcot, Nashville, St. Louis, Indianapolis and Cincinnati. The Travel Club also participates in an international dinner program. Sullivan Christian Fellowship Designed for Christian people who want to continue their spiritual development while preparing for their careers, this group conducts weekly spiritual activities led by a student minister from the SCF ministries. Culinary Salon Competition Team This team offers a limited number of students opportunities for further professional development. Members are selected in January and represent the NCHS at highly visible civic functions and compete in local, regional and national culinary competitions where they have won hundreds of awards in the last decade. Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) The collegiate continuation of the Future Business Leaders of America provides students with better insight into the business community through seminars, field trips and guest speakers. Kentucky Medical Group Management Association (KMGMA) KMGMA helps medical students develop a better understanding of the medical office managers' role, provides interaction with other students, educators and medical professionals, and promotes the exchange of ideas and experiences within a medical office. International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) Administrative students have access to the latest office trends, publications, seminars, conferences and other resources to enhance their skills. Student Paralegal Association Paralegal students have the opportunity to develop leadership and organizational skills through activities including law-related field trips, fundraisers and community projects. |
