Interdisciplinary Studies
Success in today's complex business world may require employees who are educated in multiple areas of study. The Interdisciplinary Studies Program is designed to offer more mature, experienced students or professionals who wish to take their prior learning credits and experience and apply them toward achieving their Bachelors Degree in two concentrations of their choosing. The advantage is having applicable knowledge in multiple areas, potentially making students more marketable.
Sullivan University allows students who wish to complete their education the potential ability to transfer in up to 75 percent of the total credits needed to complete their undergraduate degree. The Interdisciplinary Studies Degree is no different. These credits can come from many different areas, including coursework from prior colleges, ACE (American Council on Education) credits, U.S. Military educational credits, CLEP (College Level Examination Program), DANTES/ DSST, Excelsior examinations, and of course, the ability to submit a portfolio assessment for college level knowledge obtained during years of work experience.
You can turn your years of experience and education into a Bachelors Degree in as little as 12 months. There are many areas to select from when choosing your two specific concentrations. Areas such as Accounting, Computer Systems, Finance, Healthcare Management, Hospitality Management, Human Resource Leadership, Logistics and Distribution Management, Management, Marketing, and many others.
