Dial Up and Cellular PC Card Users Recommendation
It is strongly recommended that users of dial up or cellular PC Cards for connecting to the Internet consider switching to a Broadband connection (either Cable or DSL). The Angel Learning platform does support the use of both; however, many courses contain audio/video files, PowerPoint®, and other media rich materials. The slower speed of dial up and cellular PC Cards can make accessing your Angel courses difficult and in some cases can cause your computer to time-out. This is a condition of your computer and your Internet connection and not related to Angel. The 24/7 help desk will not be able to assist you with the issue.
Mac User Policy
The Angel Learning platform is Mac compliant; however, many courses contain software that is not. It is therefore strongly recommended that students do not use a Mac to access their courses. If you do choose to use a Mac, you must do so with the understanding that it is your responsibility to access any course software that is not Mac compliant or install the necessary software to make the Mac Windows® compatible. In addition, the 24/7 help desk will not be able to assist you with resolving any software issues related to Mac usage.
