Sony DADC – On Campus |
“Due to a rise in demand for BluRay Discs, Sony will be increasing production lines requiring more technicians.” Per Bryant Wolfe, Human Resources Specialist, Sony DADC.
Bryant came to Louisville Technical Institute February 11, 2008 to show a presentation on the Terre Haute facility in hopes of attracting soon to be MET graduates. His representation reflected the town’s many special activities and places of interest. Pictures of the Sony facility were also presented to peek interest in the Production Maintenance Technician positions. Students heard briefly from Josh Terrell, a March 2007 graduate who’s been employed by Sony since October 2007.
Soon to be March MET graduates, Brittany Deitchman, Dallas Stockdale and Nathan Fox were fortunate enough to complete the first phase of the selection process. Each were interviewed by Bryant Wolfe, and completed mandatory testing. If selected, they will be invited for second interviews with production managers, and be given a tour of the facility in Terre Haute.
Every student who went through the entire process was entered to win a Sony MP3 Player. Congrats to Brittney Deitchman the lucky winner! We cannot thank Bryant enough for continuing to work with LTI to meet his employment demands. We wish our three candidates the very best of luck in pursuing their careers with Sony.
