Baking

Begin your career as a baker at Sullivan University, the site of the National Center for Hospitality Studies. With your choice of two programs, you can begin your career  in as little as nine months or receive an Associates Degree in as little as eighteen months.

Depending on your choice, you will earn a working knowledge of the do's and don'ts of the baking environment, be qualified to prepare breads, pastries, cookies and pies in all sizes and quantities. Further education prepares you for specialized baking and preparation. You will even have the opportunity to work at Sullivan University's retail bakery, The Bakery.

These programs encourage personal creativity and provide a solid foundation in the fundamentals of food preparation.
