Applying for Financial Assistance Online

Applying for Financial Aid:
The first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This can be done in several ways:
  • Online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov (Sullivan University's Title IV code is: 004619)
  • Pick up an application at your school counselor's office
  • Contact the Financial Planning Office at Sullivan University
The Purpose of the FAFSA:
The FAFSA is simply an analysis of your financial strength and determination of how much financial assistance is available to you from both state and federal programs. This assistance may come in the form of grants, work study, and/or low interest loans.

Deadline for State Grants:
The priority filing deadline for the state of Kentucky is March 15. You must be a resident of the state of Kentucky to receive the state assistance.

Receiving the Student Aid Report:
The school will receive an electronic report (ISIR). You will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) for your records. Contact Sullivan's Financial Planning Office should you need to make corrections on this report.

Completing the Financial Aid Application Process:
After completing the admissions application process, your Admissions Representative will make arrangements for you to complete an interview with the Financial Planning Office. Students from other parts of the United States or International students may complete application by mail.
