Who are we?

INCAPS is:

  • a center focused on the patient and their medications.
  • part of Sullivan University College of Pharmacy.

Mission

  • Be a place within the community for persons to learn about their medications, ultimately empowering one to understand their medications thoroughly, leading to safe and effective medication use.
  • Provide a source for healthcare providers to collaborate with clinical pharmacists on medication therapy for their patients, leading to the confidence needed in providing patients with safe and effective medications.
  • Provide an interactive-experience that will educate students on the principles of delivering pharmaceutical care and medication therapy management services to patients.
  • Be evidence-based driven.
  • Provide culturally competent medication therapy management services to all patients.

Vision

  • Become a national and international leader within the healthcare community in the delivery of advanced clinical pharmacy services to individual patients. These services include but are not limited to Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services.
  • Train and graduate pharmacists who are competent in the delivery of advanced clinical pharmacy services within their respective work environments.
  • Promote and become a leader in providing quality pharmacy services as identified by respected pharmacy organizations.
