In October 2005, the Board of Trustees at Sullivan University System approved the
establishment of a new College of Pharmacy at Sullivan University, Louisville,
KY. Sullivan University is the largest private university in the State of
Kentucky with three campuses in Louisville, Lexington, and Fort Knox

covering 7 institutions. The new College of Pharmacy, whose mission is
to deliver general practitioners with knowledge, skills, attitudes, and
values to respond to the calling of the profession, is in the process of
forming the leadership and faculty team for this exciting endeavor.
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Pharmacy
INTERNAL MEDICINE, AMBULATORY CARE, INFECTIOUS DISEASES,
PEDIATRICS, COMMUNITY PHARMACY
Duties & Responsibilities:
The faculty is responsible for developing an innovative practice relevant to their area of expertise, precept students on rotation as well as being responsible for didactic teaching. Research activities are not emphasized, however it will be supported and strongly encouraged.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited School/College of Pharmacy in the U.S. with residency/fellowship training or with at least 5 years of clinical experiences, and be eligible for licensure in Kentucky. Candidates from all areas of pharmacy practice are encouraged to apply.

Position Description: Residency
Practice or research specialty/focus: PGY2-Drug Information Residency
Position Description:
Drug Information Specialized residency program to be offered in conjunction with the establishment of the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy Drug Information Center. The residency training will focus on Administration, Teaching, Drug Information Services, Research, and publications. The resident will have elective practice experiences and opportunity to rotate through Kentucky Regional Poison Control center, hospital, industry, and managed care drug information centers. The program will offer a unique experience for the resident to be part of a newly established drug information center as well as opportunity for professional growth and advancement.
Requirement and Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited School/College of Pharmacy in the U.S. with a pharmacy practice residency or equivalent practice experience. The candidate should be eligible for licensure in the State of Kentucky.
Start Date: July 1, 2008
