Welcome to the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions SectionThe Office of Student Affairs is prepared to assist you with accurate and timely information as you consider making application to our College. It is the Mission of the Office of Student Affairs to:
I am pleased to announce that Dean Tran has agreed with the recommendation of the Admissions and Student Affairs Committee to allow applicants from the 2008 Admissions Cycle, not receiving an admission invitation, to reactivate their applications without charge for the Class of 2012, entering July 2009. All that is necessary is for the applicant to send an email indicating their wish to reactivate. The email may be sent directly to me at FFacione@sullivan.edu. The Office of Student Affairs has received some inquiries relating to Advance Placement Courses and whether we will accept these credits in the pre-pharmacy required courses. The answer is, yes of course, we will as long as the score is 3 or above. There is now a PCAT Practice Test for applicants to hone their skills in preparation for the PCAT. Go to the PCAT web site or call 800-622-3231 for more information. The testing company states that individuals who took a practice test before taking the actual PCAT earned significantly higher scores than those who did not take a practice test. The last testing date for July 2009 admission is the October 2008 exam. The Admissions and Student Affairs Committee will begin evaluating applicant files in mid September to determine which applicants will receive an invitation for an interview. Interviews will be conducted on the Fridays of February 2009. Applicants selected will be given a choice of two dates for an interview. All interviews will be on site at the College of Pharmacy. No telephone interviews will be conducted. Please remember to submit your applications in a timely fashion to allow sufficient time for evaluation. Our application deadline is December 31 2008. If you have any questions, please call my office or send me an email and I will try to assist you in any possible way. Cordially, Frank P. Facione, Ph. D., R.Ph.
