Pharm.D.-M.B.A. | Admissions Requirements
- Matriculated in the SUCOP PharmD Program
- Admission criteria into the PharmD/MBA
- Have completed the first professional year (P1) and summer quarter of second professional year (P2) of the PharmD curriculum (completion of the P1 year, summer quarter of P2 year, and all pre-requisites for admission into the PharmD program is equivalent to the number of credits needed to earn a BS degree; total=187 quarter hours)
- Minimum pharmacy school GPA ≥3.5
- Not be on academic or professional/ethical probation at SUCOP
- Had less than 3 unexcused absences per quarter
- Procedure
- Fill out an application for permission to enroll in the PharmD/MBA option during the Summer quarter prior to enrollment in the program (applications available in the Office of Student Affairs (OSA))
- OSA and Office of Academic Affairs and Assessment (OACA) will review the application and make a recommendation to the Office of Dean on approval for enrollment in the program
- Office of the Dean will notify the student, OSA, and OACA of student's approval to enroll in MBA coursework
- OACA will notify the graduate school of Sullivan University of the list of students who have approval to enroll in the program
- Graduate school will handle all administrative matters required for acceptance and continued enrollment in MBA coursework
Students who accept automatic admission into the PharmD class following the class they had applied for (i.e. applied for admission for 2010 but was waitlisted for automatic admission into 2011 class)
- Students would be given the same prerequisite credit as for students already enrolled in the PharmD program as long as they start the PharmD program on time
- Students would follow the same application process as above
Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in both the PharmD coursework as well as the MBA coursework to receive the dual degree.
