Cheryl Fekete

Early Childhood Education

Cheryl Fekete has been in education for over 30 years, with degrees in Elementary Education/Special Education – Hearing Impairment. She has worked in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field for over 20 years. Cheryl’s been an adjunct member of the Sullivan ECE faculty for the last five years, teaching Introduction to Child Care, Creative Enrichment, Growing Child I, Child Care Professional Development, and Child Care Administration I & II.

She’s served 15 years as the training manager at the local Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, as well as the director of a half-day preschool program and a full-day childcare program. Cheryl has held a Kentucky Early Childhood Trainer’s Credential since 2002. Cheryl has served on numerous state workgroups and is a past board member of the Kentucky Association of Early Childhood Education Board (KAECE). Through the years Cheryl has presented at conferences at the local, state, and national level.
