Nancy Geist Giacomini, Ed.D. mediates special education disputes for the Pennsylvania Office for Dispute Resolution, is subject matter expert for curriculum development at Drexel and Sullivan Universities, teaches Sullivan online conflict management courses, and is a Journal of Conflict Management editor. Before joining the faculty, she served as assistant dean of students (student conduct) at the University of Delaware. She is co-editor of Reframing Campus Conflict: Student Conduct Practice Through a Social Justice Lens (Stylus 2009) and known internationally for advocacy bridging student conduct administration with more inclusive conflict resolution and restorative justice practices.

  • Received the Institutional Award for Women’s Equity for leadership in addressing campus sexual assault at the University of Delaware
  • Founded the Community of Practice for Women in the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA)
