Chef Mac McBride, CEC has a wealth of experience that includes working at Porcini’s Restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky and serving as a private chef for a family in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Following his private chef experience, he returned to the kitchen in the U.S. working at Jonathan’s at Gratz Park Inn and also as a lead chef at Kroger. He also worked in the famous Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia and then spent three years as executive chef at the historical Old Stone Inn in Simpsonville. He also worked in food sales at R.L. Schreiber Spice Company based in Pompano Beach, FL.

Chef McBride joined The Sullivan University System and become a full-time chef instructor in 2009.
