Professor Dorothy McMillon joined the Sullivan University faculty in 2014 as an adjunct professor. Her background includes 25 years in the Health Information Management (HIM) field as director and privacy officer. In that capacity, she has had the opportunity to experience long term care, acute care and behavioral health settings. Professor McMillon resides in Southern Pines, NC, where she devotes time to a local pregnancy center whose ministry offers free services and education to pregnant women and women with children up to two years of age.

  • Holds the credential of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) with the American Health Information Management Association
