What resources are available through the Sullivan Wellness Center?

  • On Campus Resource

    • Literature for pick-up in the library and selected classrooms
    • Weekly “Ask the Advisor” column in campus newsletters on behavioral and social topics
    • Quarterly wellness fairs open to the public with themes such as “Occupational Wellness”, “Mood Management”, and “Not-So-Fat Tuesday” during General Nutrition Awareness Week (GNAW)
    • Indoor labyrinth – for guided, mindful walking experiences. (This vinyl labyrinth--Classical design-- can be rented to use elsewhere for special occasions: Call Dr. Rust-Yarmuth at 502-413-8617 for details.)
    • Meditation Classes (periodically)

  • Off Campus Resource

    • Recommendations of qualified therapists or agencies
    • Consultations on self-help resources (e.g. 12 Step groups; smoking cessation programs; weight loss meetings; HIV services; churches)
