Black Student Union
The Black Student Union, or BSU, is an organization designed specifically to support African American students on campus and in the community. The purpose of the BSU is to serve the University’s African American students by recognizing the unique collegiate journeys they experience. The BSU acknowledges the need for unity among African American students and is open to all students who wish to promote political, social, cultural, and academic health as it pertains to the African American community.
Book Club
We are a student-run club with the purpose of helping fellow book worms find new books to enjoy and friends to enjoy them with. We meet every Tuesday in the Sullivan University Library basement. We take turns choosing the books to read and discuss so that we can explore different genres and authors.
Creative Writing Club
The goal of the creative writing club is to provide students with a creative outlet in a welcoming environment. You’ll have a chance to develop your writing skills and share your work with other students. It is a place for inspiration, collaboration, and fun. Whether you are a poet, fiction writer, non-fiction writer, playwright, lyricist, or blogger, we want to hear from you and help you express your voice!
Cru: Sullivan Campus Ministry
Cru is an organization focused on uplifting young adults through Christian ministry while spending time reading scripture, encouraging each other, sharing ways to pray for one another and through community outreach.
FEED (Food Experiences & Experiential Dishes)
Join the Food Experiences & Experimental Dishes Club Today! Adventure and see other viewpoints on cuisines and techniques. Build a network of people, taste new food and learn from one another.
Gaming Club
Gaming Club is a group for people to connect, interact and bond over various kinds of games. Open to all students! Gaming Club meets every Thursday at 3 pm.
Gardening Club
The gardening club is a group of students who promote and encourage the love of gardening, share knowledge and contribute to environmental responsibility.
College of Hospitality Studies Culinary Competition Team
Chosen annually during the fall quarter, this team offers a limited number of students’ opportunities to further their professional development. The team has won over 300 medals and awards. Members represent the College of Hospitality Studies at various highly visible civic functions and compete in local, regional and national culinary competitions.
SAGA (Sexuality And Gender Alliance)
SAGA is a group for anyone in the SU family that aligns within the LGBTQ+ community as well as any allies who want to come together to support each other and learn together in a safe and welcoming environment. We meet on Thursday evenings!
Sigma Beta Delta
Membership in Sigma Beta Delta is the highest national recognition a business student can receive at a college or university with a Sigma Beta Delta chapter. To be eligible for membership, a business student must rank in the upper 20 percent of the junior, senior or master’s class and be invited to membership by the faculty officers.
SAB (Student Activities Board)
SAB provides educational, social, multicultural and recreational events that serve the interests of the community. SAB gives students the opportunity to have a voice among the University while providing a sense of leadership within the student body. SAB works through and with the office of Student Services to plan, organize and present these activities on and off campus. SAB meets every Tuesday at 4:00 pm in the student lounge on Main Campus.
SVA (Student Veterans of America)
Open to all Veterans: active duty, retired, National Guard, Reserves, U.S. Coast Guard Meetings vary from campus to campus. This club helps with assistance in academic support, personal and professional networking, mentoring, and advocacy for benefits and entitlements. Promotes and continues to practice the values and traditions that service members have adopted and to extend our goodwill to the community.
Sullivan Student Paralegal Association
Our goal is for members to develop leadership and communication skills, to practice advocacy, to network with our early childhood educators, and to facilitate the professional development.
Zeta Phi Beta
The purpose of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is to foster the ideas of service, charity, scholarship, civil and cultural endeavors, sisterhood and finer womanhood.
