LOUISVILLE, KY – Sullivan University is offering COVID-19 vaccinations at its main Louisville campus through a partnership with Wild Health, a Lexington-based healthcare consulting firm.
The vaccinations are available seven days a week from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sullivan's campus at 3101 Bardstown Road. To schedule a vaccination, click here or visit https://kyvax.wildhealth.com.
"As we continue to make progress in battling the pandemic, Sullivan University has partnered with Wild Health to provide COVID-19 vaccines at its main campus located on Bardstown Road," said Lauren Kelly, Senior Director of Student Services for Sullivan University. "This will provide opportunities and encouragement for students, faculty and staff to receive the vaccine, as well as the surrounding community. Appointments will be available starting seven days a week during the afternoon and evening hours to allow for flexibility.”
Sullivan will not require students, staff or faculty to be vaccinated, but the school is strongly recommending it.
Sullivan has emerged as a frontline leader through an active, vital and wide-ranging public health effort to help Greater Louisville deal with the pandemic. Examples include:
- Earlier this year, The Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (SUCOPHS) and Wild Health partnered to offer free COVID testing.
- SUCOPHS trained pharmacists and technicians to administer the vaccine as the only American Pharmacists Association immunization training site in Kentucky.
- More than 50 SUCOPH pharmacy students volunteered to help deliver COVID-19 vaccines throughout Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana.
- Back in December, SUCOPHS students were actually the first to administer the COVID vaccination to patients in Southern Indiana.
