LAROSAF WINS CELEBRITY CHEF SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

Sullivan University’s Louisville campus and the National Center for Hospitality Studies (NCHS) would like to congratulate Angelina LaRosaf for being awarded a $3,500 scholarship toward her education at Sullivan. Angelina participated in Sullivan’s quarterly Celebrity Chef Scholarship Competition. Students currently in Sullivan’s Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Professional Catering programs worked under the supervision of local celebrity Executive Chef John Bettis and Sous Chef Ryan O’Driscoll, a Sullivan University alumna.

Chef Bettis, Chef Driscoll and the students prepared a five-course meal for guests attending the scholarship dinner held at Winston’s Restaurant. Keith Lerme, dean of the National Center for Hospitality Studies, summed up the evening’s festivities best when he said, “These type of events are a big win for all: experiential learning for our students, continuing student education scholarships, promoting our local chefs, community involvement, vendor partnerships, and fun teamwork for all involved!”

Congratulations to Angelina LaRosaf and all students! Sullivan is very excited to see what happens next for them!
