LEXINGTON CAMPUS PARTICIPATES IN TASTE OF THE BLUEGRASS
Culinary students and instructors from Sullivan University’s Lexington campus participated in the 34th Annual Taste of the Bluegrass on Friday, May 16. The event raises money for Sullivan’s community partner God’s Pantry. The group prepared and served two samples revolving around a Tex-Mex theme. Over 1,000 attendees enjoyed tamale pies (both vegetarian and chicken were available) and homemade cinnamon marshmallows with chipotle chocolate. Although the group did not win an award, they did receive rave reviews from guests at the party.
