PARALEGAL STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED TO KING
Paralegal Studies student Claudia King was recently awarded the 2014 Sullivan University Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies (BSPS) Scholarship.
Nicholas Riggs, dean of Legal Studies, was pleased to learn that Claudia was selected to receive the scholarship awarded by members of the Sullivan Legal Studies advisory board, acting as the BSPS scholarship committee.
“Claudia is a wonderful student and represents the best of what Sullivan has to offer. She is highly motivated, in and out of the classroom, actively engaged in a variety of activities on and off campus, and is already well respected in the local legal community. We are proud to have Claudia as a student and recognize her ongoing accomplishments through this scholarship,” Riggs said.
Claudia was excited to receive the scholarship, and overall pleased with her decision to attend Sullivan. “I enjoy interacting with my professors and my fellow students. I love the small classes, that the teachers care about us and our success, and that they know our names. We are not a huge school where students are anonymous.”
