The College of Business Administration (COBA) maintains close ties with the employers who hire our graduates. Business leaders not only serve on the COBA's advisory boards to ensure that our degree programs remain current and relevant to the demands and expectations of the marketplace, but they also participate with faculty members in the classroom.

The College of Business Administration (COBA) strives to ensure that all of its academic degree programs are up-to-date and relevant to the demands of the marketplace and employers who hire our graduates. COBA facilitates this value by maintaining close relationships with local employers. Not only do COBA faculty members visit managers working in the marketplace, they also invite employers to actively participate in the student learning process.

For instance, our Professional Development course, which teaches you how to create your résumé, market yourself and prepare for job interviews, invites local business managers to conduct classroom visits as well as mock interview sessions to help you better understand employer expectations. This real-world approach is carried out throughout all COBA academic degree programs, including the Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration.
