Program Highlights & Locations
The College of Business strives to ensure that all of its academic degree programs are up-to-date and relevant to the demands of the marketplace and employers who hire our graduates. COB facilitates this value by maintaining close relationships with local employers. Not only do COB faculty members visit managers working in the marketplace, they also invite employers to actively participate in the student learning process. For instance, our Professional Development course--which teaches you how to create your résumé, market yourself, and prepare for job interviews--invites local business managers to conduct classroom visits as well as mock interview sessions to help you better understand employer expectations. This real-world approach is carried out throughout all COB academic degree programs, including the Business Administration career diploma and the Associate of Science in Business Management programs.
There are numerous websites available to assist students and graduates seeking jobs in the business management field. More importantly, there are social networking sources available to students, enabling them to gather work-related information about companies and positions. Specifically, all COB degree programs encourage students to obtain and maintain a LinkedIn account.
