Objectives

Graduates with a diploma in Nursing are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN). The Nursing Diploma program has an NCLEX first attempt pass rate that exceeds the Kentucky Board of Nursing minimum percentage of students passing on their first try. The program focuses on topics supported by theory and the holistic care model. All of the nursing faculty are specialists in their fields, and the vast majority are still practitioners. This ensures that the theory that is presented is relevant and timely within the healthcare community. There is a personal, friendly atmosphere at the school and an “open-door” relationship with the administration.
