1 NIGHT TRIP
PRICE: $35.00 PLUS FOOD MONEY
ALL SOPHOMORE, JUNIORS, AND SENIORS WHO HAVE AN INTEREST IN CULINARY ARTS. KITCHEN EXPERIENCE WITH CHEFS, LOUISVILLE TOUR, AND TOURS OF CAMPUS.
ITINERARY:
Thursday
- 5:00 pm – Arrive at Gardiner Point Residence Hall and rooms assigned.
- 5:30 pm – Tour of Gardiner Point Residence Hall.
- 6:00 pm – Travel to Highlands for Dinner at your own cost.
- 9:00 pm – Relax and enjoy the rest of the night!
- 11:00 pm – Curfew must be in your room!!
Friday
- 7:30 am – Eat breakfast at Gardiner Point
- 8:30 am – Leave Gardiner Point Residence Hall and arrive at main campus (must have bags packed we will not be returning to Gardiner point).
- 8:45 am – 2:00 pm – Fun filled day at main campus. Chef speaker, tour of campus, meet faculty, and working in the kitchens with our Chef Instructors!
**Every student needs to wear Chef Uniform (if applicable). If you do not have a uniform please make sure to wear long pants and kitchen-safe shoes. Parents and teachers, please make sure you bring kitchen-safe shoes because you will be in the labs as well.
- 2:00 pm – Tour of Bakery at Sullivan University.
- 2:30 pm – Leave for home.
2 NIGHT TRIP

- 4:30 pm – Return to Gardiner Point Residence Hall, rest and change into casual clothes.
- 6:00 pm – Teachers are free to take their students out to explore city/activity, we can assist in making suggestions etc. Activities would be at your own cost.
- 8:30 pm – Return to Gardiner Point for a movie and snacks.
- 11:00 pm – Curfew.
Saturday
- 7:30 am – Check out of Gardiner Point rooms.
- 8:00 am – Breakfast at Gardiner Point.
- 9:00 am – Tour of Bakery at Sullivan University.
- 9:30 am – Leave for home (Box lunches for trip home)
ITEMS TO BRING
- Chef attire or professional dress for Friday, including kitchen-safe shoes
- Casual school appropriate clothes for Louisville, KY tour!
- Towels/wash cloth
- Toiletries: tooth paste, toothbrush, shampoo, hand soap, and deodorant.
- Your favorite snacks.
- Sleeping bag or sheets/blanket and pillow as there will be no linens on the beds (TWIN XL).
