BIOGRAPHY

Christian holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the Universidad del Valle in Colombia, South America. He moved to the USA and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from Baylor University. His graduate work involved enzyme mechanisms and protein biochemistry. After graduate school he worked as a research scientist and lab manager at Penn State and UT Southwestern universities. His research work involved studies on the mechanism of action of viral RNA polymerases, electron transfer in bacterial photosynthetic reaction centers and signal transduction in the central nervous system. Christian went back to school and obtained a Pharm. D. degree from Wilkes University in May of 2016 and joined the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in August of that year.
