BIOGRAPHY 

Dr. Leslie is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and serves as Director of Enrollment and Community Outreach for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She joined the faculty at Sullivan University in 2018 and was Director of the Center for Health and Wellness for 3 years. Prior to her time at Sullivan, Dr. Leslie held previous positions at the University of Louisville Health Sciences Center, overseeing various curricular, research, grant, diversity, and community engagement initiatives that spanned across academic programs and health science disciplines. 

Dr. Leslie teaches in both the PharmD and PA curricula and coordinates the Introduction to Health Care System, Public Health, and Pharmacoeconomics courses in the PharmD program. For her research, she has over 50 peer-reviewed regional and national conference presentations as well as numerous peer-reviewed publications. She was awarded a 2020 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Grant, and currently serves as Co-Principal Investigator for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) with the University of Louisville site.  

Dr. Leslie is a member of the American Public Health Association (current elected role as Section Councilor for the Pharmacy Section), and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (active in both the Public Health SIG as well as the Health Disparities and Cultural Competency SIG).
