Dr. Nichole Gotschall joined the Sullivan University General Education faculty in 2001 where she served as the department chair for Developmental Studies until 2008. In 2007, Dr. Gotschall was the inaugural recipient of the Above and Beyond Award, Sullivan’s Faculty Member of the Quarter Award. In 2016, she received her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Walden University and has continued her research on the cultures of higher education institutions and the effects of academic entitlement behavior. Embracing her learning-focused teaching philosophy that is grounded empowerment, accountability, and collaboration, Dr. Gotschall continues to teach American Government, History of American Film, and Information Literacy at Sullivan. When she is not in the virtual classroom, she can be found exploring the outdoors.
