BIOGRAPHY 

Dr. Frederick received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Winchester, Virginia. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Geisinger Medical Center in central Pennsylvania. Dr. Frederick’s clinical practice site is at the University of Louisville Hospital where she precepts students and residents as part of an interdisciplinary internal medicine rounding team. She is active in state and national professional organizations such as the Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacists where she served as Co-Chair for the Programming and Practitioner Education Committee and now as the College’s liaison to the Board of Directors. Nationally, she has been involved in committee work of the Pharmacy Practice Section of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy serving as vice chair and chair of the membership committee. In her free time, Dr. Frederick enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, baking, and evaluating literature.
