Biography

Jennifer P. Gaither is a graduate of the Sullivan University College of Legal Studies, and worked as a paralegal before attending law school. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 1998, and is licensed to practice law in Kentucky state courts and federal district courts sitting in Kentucky. Her practice focused on civil litigation defense. She returned to Sullivan to teach adjunct in the College of Legal Studies in 2000 while still practicing law. She was selected as the full time paralegal instructor in 2004 after the death of her father, who had been the full time paralegal instructor for 17 years prior. She was selected as Dean of the College of Legal Studies in March 2019. She serves on the Sullivan University Institutional Review Board, Curriculum Committee and Academic Council.
