Biography

Mary Katherine Probst, PharmD, BCACP, BCGP is an Associate Professor at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and completed her ambulatory care focused pharmacy practice residency through the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She has maintained active ambulatory care pharmacist roles in community, health-system, and academic settings during her 13-year pharmacy career. She serves as a preceptor for advanced pharmacy practice students and pharmacy residents at her practice site within the Center for Health and Wellness, located on the Sullivan University Louisville campus, and Hosparus of Louisville. She has been an active member of the Louisville Metro Board of Health since 2013. She attained board certification in ambulatory care in 2012 and geriatric care in 2017 through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) and contributes to BPS as a field tester. She was recently awarded the faculty preceptor of the year award by the Pharmacy Class of 2019. Her primary teaching focus is practical lab application and self-care instruction taught in the first year Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum.
