Bio:

Melissa Edds is a 1995 graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in Houston, Texas. She practiced as a physician assistant for 7 years in rural family practice in West Virginia where she was active in the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) program for pediatric patients. She has worked in orthopedics and sports medicine for the last 16 years and is currently employed as a board-certified PA with UofL Health Orthopedic Associates. She has worked with the Sullivan University PA Program in both the Clinical and Didactic arenas and is currently full-time Didactic Faculty. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants, and Physician Assistant Education Association. Melissa is active with the Oldham County Medical Reserve Corp and Northeast Christian Church. She is also a guest lecturer for Bellarmine University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Melissa is married to Nathan and has 2 daughters. Melissa enjoys crafting, baking, hiking, 4-wheeling, gardening, and just generally spending time outside.
