I graduated in 2004 with my ASN from Ivy Tech State College.  I worked as a Mother/Baby nurse at Baptist Health Louisville for 14 years and am certified in Maternal Newborn Nursing.  It was during that time that I discovered a passion for teaching and made the decision to complete my BSN at Indiana Wesleyan and then Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Walden University.  I joined the Nursing faculty in 2016 and currently teach Fundamentals of Nursing and Maternal Child Nursing in the ASN program.  It is so exciting to see student growth and development as they begin their journey into the field of nursing!
