SGA

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) at Sullivan University allows the students a chance to self-govern, giving a voice to their opinion and ideas, and serves to oversee university organizations, facilitating their events and providing support where necessary. This is managed by serving as the first line of approval for all organizational events and providing leadership meetings for all organizations to attend. In addition to serving as a liaison between the students, faculty, and administration of SUCOP, SGA works to provide fun and relaxing events for the students. Such events include: Student Appreciation Day, which is typically held the first quarter, and exists as a carnival-type affair with various activities and productions; Cultural Day, a traditional event that promotes and celebrated cultural diversity through student participation, games, and entertainment; and various other events throughout the year.

Officers

SGA consists of five peer-elected officers, all of which dedicate themselves to serving the student body. These positions are:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • Student Event Chair
  • Media and Public Relations
